COLOR BLIND?

Remember way back when.....when I said I thought Nevaeh was color blind.....Well we still believe this today.  She is almost 3 years old and still does not know her colors!  

This morning, Mommy gave her a bath and asked her what color she wanted her water to be.  Nevaeh said, "yelwo".   Mommy poured in the yellow bath powder......and.....Nevaeh sat there and waited, and waited and waited....then asked Mommy when the water was going to be "yelwo".  Mommy said it was, couldn't she tell?......and Nevaeh said no!  :-(.   

I believe she knows that a color is a shade, because she understands the definition of the word "color", however, I do not believe she sees colors beyond shades or tones of color....Does that make sense?
