Mother's Day 2014

Little Miss Nevaeh is sooooo perceptive at the young age of 4. Tomorrow she shared with us that she is having a Mother's Day lunch with Grammy and ask Tata to go also because Grammy needed a grandpa to be with her. It was sooooo hard not to cry.....as Nevaeh was being extremely serious with her conversation. She didn't want Grammy to be without a Grandpa because it would make her sad. ....Nevaeh has such a big heart!

HEAVEN CLAIMS ANOTHER ANGEL :-(

My dear Nevaeh,
I been absent from this blog this past week, due to a heavy heart. On May 1 , 2014, God called home another angel. Your Grandpa Baker passed away at a young age of 52......You are 4 years old right now. As I write, we are still unsure why he passed away, but we do know he died peacefully in his sleep. As we put together the slideshow of pictures for the funeral, you told me that Grandpa was up in Heaven with (Great) Grandma Martin and that you would not see him again. I thought about explaining things to you, but you seemed content with your explanation, so I chose not to elaborate of the beautiful after life with God. One day we will have that talk!
